A profile will not launch
Steps to take when a desktop profile won't open, from proxy checks to plan limits and syncing.
Each Sendwin profile is an isolated Chromium browser running on the Sendwin Stealth Engine, with its own cookies, storage and login. When a profile won't launch, the cause is usually one of a few things: a proxy that isn't reachable, a plan limit on how many profiles can run at once, or a profile you've blocked. This article walks through them.
1. Test the profile's proxy
A profile is paired with one proxy, and a dead proxy is the most common reason a launch stalls. Open the profile and run the built-in proxy tester: it should return an exit IP, country and latency. If it fails, fix the proxy first, see "A proxy fails the tester."
2. Check how many profiles are already open
The number of profiles you can run side by side depends on your plan. If you're at the limit, close a running profile before opening another one. If you routinely need more open at once, review the higher plans at send.win/pricing.
3. Check whether the profile is blocked
For privacy you can block a profile. A blocked profile won't launch normally, unblock it first if you intended to open it.
4. Make sure you're signed in
Sign in from the app using Sign in with browser, which opens the Sendwin portal so you never type your password into the app. Remember that a new desktop login kicks the previous desktop login (sessions are single and per-surface), so if you signed in elsewhere, sign in again here.
Tip
If a profile was created or last used on another computer, run Sync now there, then Launch it here. Most-recent-Sync-wins, so the latest login travels to this machine.
Note
If a specific profile still won't open after all of this, try launching a different profile. If others open fine, the problem is isolated to that profile, contact [email protected] with its name.
