Block a profile for privacy

Block a profile to keep it private, for example on a shared computer, without deleting the profile or its data.

Sometimes you want a profile kept private, especially on a shared or borrowed computer. Sendwin lets you block a profile for exactly that reason.

Blocking is a privacy control, not a deletion. The profile and its data stay on your machine; blocking simply keeps that profile private.

Block a profile

  1. 1Open the profile you want to keep private.
  2. 2Choose the option to block the profile.
  3. 3Confirm to apply the block.

Note

Blocking a profile doesn't delete it or its cookies, logins or history. Those still live on your machine, where your profile data is stored by default.

When to use it

  • You share a computer and don't want a sensitive profile visible or open to others.
  • You want to keep a profile aside while you work in other profiles.
  • You're stepping away and want an extra layer of privacy on a specific profile.

Tip

Blocking pairs well with account-level protection. Turn on two-factor authentication for your Sendwin account and remember that your profiles, cookies and session data stay on your own machine by default.
