Share expiry presets and cancelling a share
Every shared profile has an expiry you pick from presets, and you can cancel a share at any time.
When you share a profile with a paid teammate, the share is time-bounded. You choose how long it lasts from a set of presets, and you stay in control — you can end any share early whenever you want.
This keeps access temporary by design: a teammate can Launch the profile only until it expires, and never gets a permanent copy.
Choosing an expiry
When you set up a share, you pick an expiry from the presets, which range from 15 minutes up to 30 days. Pick the shortest window that fits the task — you can always share again later.
- Short presets (like 15 minutes) suit a quick, one-off hand-off.
- Longer presets (up to 30 days) suit ongoing collaboration on the same account.
Tip
Because most-recent-Sync now-wins, run a fresh Sync right before you share so the teammate opens with your latest login rather than a stale one.
Cancelling a share
You can cancel a share at any time, before it reaches its expiry. Cancelling revokes the teammate's ability to Launch the profile right away.
- 1Find the active share for the profile.
- 2Choose to cancel it.
- 3The teammate loses access immediately and can no longer Launch the shared profile.
Heads up
Recipients can never edit, delete or re-share a profile you shared — but for privacy, cancel the share as soon as the teammate no longer needs access rather than waiting for it to expire.
