Connect the desktop app to your account using Sign in with browser — you never type your password into the app.

Sendwin's desktop app signs you in through the portal in your regular browser, so you never type your password into the app itself. This keeps your credentials in one trusted place and supports Google sign-in and two-factor authentication.

Sign in

  1. 1Open the desktop app and choose Sign in with browser.
  2. 2A window opens to the Sendwin portal at portal.send.win.
  3. 3Sign in normally — with your email and password or Google, and complete 2FA if you have it enabled.
  4. 4Once you're signed in, the app automatically picks up the session and you're connected.

Two logins can coexist

Sendwin allows a single active session per surface. A web login and a desktop login can be signed in at the same time. Signing in on the web again kicks the previous web session, and a new desktop sign-in kicks the previous desktop one.

Tip

Being signed in to the portal in your browser with the same account is also what lets you run a synced profile in the cloud, so it's worth keeping that session handy.
