Download and install the desktop app

Download the Sendwin desktop app for Windows, macOS or Linux and install it to start running profiles locally.

The Sendwin desktop app runs your profiles locally on the Sendwin engine, a patched build of Chromium. It's available for Windows, macOS and Linux, and installing it takes just a couple of minutes. Creating and launching profiles needs a Pro or Team plan — if you haven't chosen one yet, see Create your account and choose a plan.

Download

  1. 1Open send.win/download in your regular browser.
  2. 2Pick the build for your operating system — Windows, macOS or Linux.
  3. 3Save the installer to your computer.

Install

  • Windows — run the downloaded installer and follow the prompts.
  • macOS — open the downloaded file and drag Sendwin into your Applications folder.
  • Linux — use the package for your distribution as provided on the download page.

Note

The Windows and macOS installers are code-signed — the Windows build by Sendwin LLC and the macOS build signed and notarized by Apple. SHA-256 checksums for every installer, Linux packages included, are published alongside them at downloads.send.win.

Once installed, launch the app. The first time it runs it may set up the Sendwin engine, so give it a moment to finish.

Note

By default your profiles' cookies and session data stay on your own machine. A cloud backup is encrypted on your device first; a login you sync or share is stored encrypted on our servers.

With the app installed, the next step is to sign in with your browser so it connects to your account.
