Block or redirect pages in a shared session

On Team plans, add rules to a cloud session that block or redirect specific pages, so people you share it with stay where you want them.

When you share a live cloud session, you may want to keep the other person on the right pages and off everything else. On Team plans and higher, a cloud session can carry an access policy — a set of rules that block or redirect specific pages.

What the rules do

  • Block a page — if the session tries to open a page that matches a rule, it's blocked.
  • Redirect a page — a matching page is automatically sent to a different URL you choose.

The policy is attached to the session and applied to the live browser in real time. It covers everyone you share the session with, so a viewer or controller can work inside the session without wandering into pages you've walled off.

Set it up

  1. 1Run the profile as a cloud session.
  2. 2Open the session's access policy (block / redirect) controls.
  3. 3Add your block and redirect rules and save — they take effect on the running session immediately.
  4. 4Share the session as usual; your rules travel with it.

Note

Block or redirect pages is a Team-plan feature. On lower plans you'll see an upgrade prompt when you try to add rules.

Tip

Combine it with a view-only share when you just want someone to watch, or control plus rules when you want them working inside clear guardrails.
